My "No Makeup" Makeup Routine

There are days I feel like going full glam with my makeup, but a lot of the time I follow a super simple, easy routine that enhances my natural features. Whether you're a makeup fanatic or a makeup newbie, having a "no makeup" makeup routine that you can finish in just a few minutes and head out the door is always handy!

Before any makeup routine, my first step is always prime. I recently recieved the Bare Minerals Blemish Rescue Skin-Clearing Anti-Redness Mattifying Primer, $26 from Influenster. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I am really loving it! The product fills in pores while mattifying the face, preventing oil throughout the day. The green color cancels out any redness and you are left with a smooth base.

On "No Makeup" makeup days, I usually don't wear foundation. I use the L.A. Girl Pro Concealer, $4.99 to cover any blemishes or discoloration and blend it out with a brush.

Next, I use a fluffy brush and dust Physician Formula's Butter Bronzer, $14.95 around the perimeter of my face and use it for a light cheek and nose contour.

For brows, I fill in any sparse areas with the NYX Micro Brow Pencil, $10 and brush them out with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel, $22 for a fluffy, natural look.

Next, (my favorite step) I use the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter, $41 in the shade Opal. I just dab this on my cheekbones, the tip of my nose and cupids bow with my finger. This gives an instant "glow from within".

I was in search of a new mascara a few years ago when I decided to go cruelty-free and I came across a brand I had never heard of in Ulta called Essence. It was so affordable that I just had to try it out, so I picked a random mascara called I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara, $4.99. Since getting this mascara, I have repurchased it over and over again. I don't use anything else!

Lastly, I set my face with Milani's Make it Last Setting Spray, $10.

I'd love to hear about your favorite makeup products! Do you like a natural look or glam?
