Today's blog post comes from Stephanie Campbell of Glam and Graffiti, and is part of a very special day with other Pittsburgh bloggers! You can see my post over on In Pursuit where I created a summer wedding guest lookbook! Now, let's get into Stephanie's post.
Spring is finally here and with that comes longer days filled with sunshine and trips to the beach, to workouts outside and more!
My name is Stephanie Campbell, Fashion Blogger at GlamandGraffiti.com. I've always loved make up - it's difficult to not want to buy every bronzer, foundation and mascara within sight; but recently I've focused my love towards skin and hair care. Especially for the spring and summer months.
For both skin and hair, I've been using mainly moisturizers, balancing tonics, and clarifying shampoos. Read on below to learn more about the benefits of a few of my favorites!
Let's first talk hair. I have mid-length THICK, wavy-curly hair. It's a blessing and a curse. I've been using Bumble and Bumble's Sunday Shampoo on...you guessed it...Sundays. It's the perfect weekly detox for hairspray junkies. It rids hair of residue, hard water minerals, and pollutants. The Super Rich Conditioner is a great moisturizing compliment. I complete the look with Bumble and Bumble's Hairdresser's Oil featuring UVA/UVB filters and heat styling protection. It's A 10 Miracle Leave In Conditioner is the must-have product before I brush through my hair after washing.
Let's face it. When it comes to skin care it's difficult to find the perfect fit! I've just started testing Sephora's new Super Serum. Each day it works to restore your skin tone, but is currently out of stock at Sephora...check back soon!
I've had the toughest time finding the right toner and I think I hit the jackpot with Orgins' United State Balancing Tonic. It's a tingly-cool tonic that re-texturizes skin. Plus, it smells great! On long nights that could turn into rough mornings, look to Ole Henricksen's Ultimate Lift Eye Gel. But, note! I don't use it everyday, it's a bit intense! Lastly, I start each morning with Sephora's Instant Moisturizer. It's a great base for make up and has never irritated my skin. Not pictured, but definitely worth mentioning...I've become obsessed with Josie Maran's 100% Argan Oil over the past few days. More to come on that product on GlamandGraffiti.com soon!
